The beautiful gulf coast town of Orange beach is deceptive in its size and there's more to do here than immediately meets the ey. So here's a quick list of attractions you might want to check out on your next vacation to Orange Beach.

1. Beaches along this part of the gulf are well known for their beautiful white sands and georgeous shoreline.

2. Day cruises are another popular way to spend some leisure time. The cruises vary from company to company and feature a number of diffrent themes include ing guided fishing trips, dolphin viewings tours, dinner cruises, glass bottom boat rides and sunset cruises.

3. No trip to Orange Beach would be complete without visiting The Wharf, nothing short of an entertainment mega center. Here you can enjoy the 10,000 seat amphitheater that is home to an exciting mix of excellent acts and groups from around the country.

4. Golf enthusiasts will also love The Wharf Resort's 18-hole championship golf course, complete with dining room, pro shop and a plantation style clubhouse.

Children and adults alike will love taking a trip down the Wharf's lazy river, or a few breathtaking turns on the 112 ft. tall Ferris wheel which towers over the end of the wharf, the largest in the southeast. It can accommodate 140 people in 24 gondolas, every one of which is guaranteed to provide the best view in town.

6. Next on our list is the SanRoc Cay Marina. Here you can charter a fishing boat for a day, embark on a snorkeling excursion or dolphin sighting tour, or just relax and enjoy a great meal at one of four excellent restaurants.

For those feeling a bit daring there's always the 420 foot zip line that you can use a pulley to speed down.
